Crystal Heart is the result of one man’s passion for crystals. Patrick (PJ), O Malley, an Irishman working in the fashion industry, first came into contact with crystals for a handbag line he was working on. He fell in love instantly. His work took him down into the mines of South America where he searched for crystals together with the men who mined them. It was down in the mines that he first felt the full power of the stones and saw how they changed and empowered the men who worked with them. You can read more about how Crystal Heart started here.

Imitation crystals are more common than you might imagine. And, what is worse, at first glance you might not be able to tell the difference between a fake crystal and the real thing. The most common kind of fake gemstone on the market is what is synthetic gemstones. These are crystals that have been created in a laboratory as a substitute for the genuine stones and are chemically identical to the natural crystal. It is almost impossible to tell the difference. That is why Crystal Heart certifies its gemstones with the GIA, so you can be certain you are getting a real, natural crystal that was formed within the earth.
